What a time we have these days. I'm extremely disappointed with myself and the rest of my fellow citizens. I say all of because we ARE one country. We used to be anyway. Whether you like where this country is headed or not, it is our acute ability for stupidity that got us here. I'm so disgusted with hearing folks cry and moan about the government. Not all folks but most. Democrats or Republican? Who cares? They both suck! Is that my answer to everything? No. Doesn't make it any less true. We as citizens should take a look in the mirror. We the people. I wish. We have been given the means by which to keep and protect that which was handed down too us. We are so lazy. We won't even e-mail these colossal failures. Remember the days when you had to get this crazy stuff called paper and a pen? It took at least three days for a letter to get anywhere. What about a phone call? Nooooo! Not the phone! Remember when you had to stick your finger on the rotary thing on the phone and spin it around to make a call? If you screwed up you had to redial the whole stinkin' thing. E-mail? How dare I bring such heresy here. E-mail your elected officials....once a week, maybe? It's easy I promise. It's just like sending a real e-mail. Yep I've tried it. Feels exactly the same.
There are people all OVER this earth that would die to be able to be as lazy as we are! We are going to wake up one day in the back seat of some strange car like a hung over hooker and wonder what the heck happened here. That's not good. Let's slap ourselves around a little bit. Nancy Pelosi is third in line to the Presidency. Nancy Pelosi! That drunk hooker thing doesn't seem so far fetched now, does it? Does anyone smell stale beer?
